About the Founder

After graduating from Notre Dame with a degree in finance, I thought I knew what my career would look like. But having five children - including triplets- reshaped not just my priorities, but my sense of possibility. Motherhood sharpened my ambition and gave me a new lens on leadership, creativity, and what is lasting. Yet I found the traditional workplace had no language for what I’d gained - my experiences didn’t count, didn’t show up on a resume, and weren’t part of the conversation. And corporate America couldn’t accommodate the kind of life I wanted for my family and myself anyway. Then I realized: rather than beg for a seat at their table, I needed to build my own. I launched Undercurrent to create a space for reinvention - where driven, intentional women can surface bold ideas, amplify overlooked talent, and build ventures shaped by the life-giving force of motherhood.
